Uses of MedLifeCard Software and Applications:
- MedLifeCard
does not claim to be a service provider in the traditional medical
sense. It is a software system for the exclusive use of patients,
prospective patients, family members, any human being. As a
convenience, a template set is provided via an Internet appearance
or by other media (flash drive, computer disc, personal digital
appliance, Blackberry, Kindle, IPAD, Nook etc) for the excusive use
of one individual or a population of users. The MedLifeCard may be
resident on an Internet server or any other media with a storage
capacity sufficient to handle the overall program. The actual
personal file may be one or an infinite number of personal files.
Each file resident in a MedLifeCard System is mutually exclusive of
any other user file resident in the same MedLifeCard System. Each
file comprising the singe template set is for the exclusive use by
that single user and its boundary is defined by personalized
username, password and other secure boundary markers. Each user, and
only the user, populates a template set acquired by him/her from the
seller or prior owner of the MedLifeCard System.
- MedLifeCard
is not exclusively a domain on the Internet. MedLifeCard is a
software provider of template sets for personal use called a file.
The domain may be of any name or a link in an open or closed network
that may have or has access to the Internet. The underlying software
set may be customized to any environment as to names, template
organization, and capacity. MedLifeCard (by any name) does not
service the individual template set owned by the person whose file
it is. There are no services provided relative to access to the
particular file owned by the user. Initialization of the personal
file is by the person owner of the file. The number of personal
files on a MedLifeCard System is unlimited. The Provider of a
MedLifeCard System file may be anyone who has purchased a particular
domain and the MedLifeCard System and sells the file or otherwise
gives the file to a person who becomes the owner.
- The
MedLifeCard System does no servicing or processing of any kind. It
has features that pertain to the individual template set. Among the
features is an emergency record that is automatically generated by
the user’s populated data entries in a read-only format. Stored data
that has been acquired through the ‘browse and store’ feature for
any folder within the individual’s file may be in any format
including pdf. All data that appears in the emergency record is in
read-only format.
- A
MedLifeCard File Owner personally acquires all the information to
populate the available templates within the file. MedLifeCard has
incorporated and organized within its template provisions Microsoft
Windows’ Features within each personal file to allow for direct data
entry, copy/paste, or ‘browse and store’ in accordance with the
pre-ordained format. MedLifeCard does not participate in any of the
data entry functions nor does it provide any information other than
embedded directions for use of the MedLifeCard System. The
acquisition of all data from any source is solely by the individual
file owner. The template organization provides the above features to
enable the patient to accommodate his/her acquisition of the data
populating specific folders within one template set. (See Demo at
www.medlifecard.com )
- All other
advanced medical record systems are in the healthcare industry
(hospitals, physician record systems, laboratories, and other
healthcare providers) as providers of healthcare and none of those
provide the patient with absolute control over the data entry
functions without involvement of the Provider. None of the
healthcare systems with which we are familiar provide for the
patient to make and validate all entries to the patient’s record.
Nor do they allow the patient to make any complex data entries such
as X-Ray, Catscan, blood work nor does the patient transfer other
physician related file information into the healthcare server.
- MedLifeCard
is a software methodology that AUGMENTS the normal patient’s limited
technology skills by providing the individual patient with a
personal record-keeping device for the storage of simple and complex
data formats. The complexities relative to input and output are part
of the MedLifeCard System and such transfers in and out are fully
under the control of the patient. The MedLifeCard software provides
the patient with the tools to collect all of his data directly or
from any of his caregivers and to make that collected data available
to caregivers 24/7 or otherwise.
