MLS is a unique Internet emergency records provider. The core of our service is an electronic Internet data entry and retrieval physician/patient system for patient medical files called Medlifecard. The primary emphasis is the segregation of patient medical history from scheduling, claim and other accounting data. The system has been designed to provide faster access to patient medical history 24/7 anytime from anywhere. The name Medlifecard is derived from the three component objectives:

Use of the Medlifecard Internet System

The primary beneficiary is the member patient-owner of the file content. The file may be prepared by the subscriber member's physician or the physician's staff. It may also contain entries by the member. The file once created is available for instant updating by any permitted party. While the member is the primary beneficiary, the users are likely to be those caregivers to whom the member has entrusted his personal health care. In an emergency, provision is granted to any professional caregiver. Other family members may be granted similar privileges.

Physician use of Medlifecard

Medlifecard provides the physician with a universal patient record format (i.e. emergency face sheet) to review, retrieve or update the patient's file. It can be optionally used for patient charting and retrieval. The patient's medical record can be collected from all providers and organized into categories that any emergency physician would recognize.
